Rita Abadi, LMHC, is Operation Manager and Clinician at the Mount Sinai SAVI Program where she provides services for victims of sexual, domestic violence, and sex trafficking. She has worked with survivors of gender-based violence for over 30 years in the US and in Latin America. She holds a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from New York University, a NYS License in Mental Health Counseling, a License in Clinical Psychology in Brazil, and post-graduate trainings in Group Psychotherapy and in Child Abuse Treatment. She is fluent in four languages and provides culturally sensitive services to survivors.
